Allan WrightAllan Wright has been traveling the world for much of his lifetime, the last 11 years as owner of adventure tour operator Zephyr Adventures. Zephyr runs a variety of trips such as Trekking in Tibet, inline skating in The Netherlands, and a multisport tour for families in Yellowstone. Zephyr is also one of the few companies in the world that runs active wine tours. Allan writes for Travels With Wine about his active explorations of the world’s wine areas and about the general concept of wine tourism.

Dave ChambersDave Chambers is the proprietor of Sideways Wine Club and Tastes of the Valleys. Sideways Wine Club is an online wine club and retail shop focusing on wines of California’s Central Coast, made famous by the movie Sideways. Tastes of the Valleys is a wine bar located in Solvang, California, just north of Santa Barbara. Dave lives in San Francisco, travels frequently throughout California, and will be covering all areas of the state for Travels With Wine.

Jim HofmanJim Hofman is an author and website developer specializing in wine, beer, and travel. Jim and his wife Laura are the editors of Wine Trails USA, a bi-weekly wine travel ezine dedicated to the enjoyment of wine travel. Jim contributes to Travels With Wine from spots located around the United States as he travels the country’s wine regions.

Kerry Newberry is a freelance writer based in Portland, Oregon who covers wine, food, sustainability, and lifestyle for a variety of publications.  Since bit by the wine bug, she has studied with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and received the Robert Mondavi Fellowship to The Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadwood Napa Valley in 2008. Kerry will mostly cover Oregon for Travels With Wine. Her website is www.kerrynewberry.com.

Kori VoorheesKori Voorhees is a Certified Specialist of Wine living in Seattle, Washington. She runs the wine blog Wine Peeps as a family effort with her husband and parents, covering the world of wine as she travels through various wine regions of the world. Kori is also a published book author and will be turning her writing talents to wine travel as she covers her home state of Washington – and anywhere else her wine travels take her – for Travels With Wine.

Sharon Alexander recently left a 17-year career in the newspaper industry to start her own web design business, Paint Street Productions, and concentrate more on her wine travels. And travel to wine areas she does, as she frequently writes for her own website, WineryAdventures.com. Sharon lives in southern Ohio and will concentrate on the Northeastern US and Ontario for Travels With Wine, although her adventures might take her anywhere.

Sofia PerperaSofia Perpera is a Greek native who runs the website www.AllAboutGreekWine.com, a joint venture of 31 Greek wineries promoting their products in North America. Sofia has a degree in winemaking and wine-tasting from Bordeaux University, trained at Château Magdelaine in France, and worked for four years at the Greek Wine Federation. Sofia participates as a judge in international wine tasting competitions and continues to write regularly for various Greek publications. She is our Greek wine travel expert.

Sue CourtneySue Courtney is a wine educator, wine writer, and wine judge living in Auckland, New Zealand. She writes a weekly wine column for the surburan Rodney Times newspaper, a monthly column for Urban and Country magazine, and has contributed articles to Wine Enthusiast and The New Zealand Herald. She maintains the website Wine of the Week, which is an online magazine all about New Zealand wine. Sue will share her love for and knowledge of New Zealand’s wine areas in her postings.
